It's obvious that we need to expand our member base.
How do you propose we do that?
I'd like to avoid inviting people left and right. What we should of course do is advertise on the realm and guild recruitment forums, have them come here and write up a application.
However, if the guild grows the responsibilities of managing it will grow as well.
I'd like to see a show of hands for people that seriously are going to continue playing for the next, oh, month or two and would like to help with making the guild larger.
I'm not saying we need 200+ members, we just need a few more so we have enough variety and numbers to tackle some of the endgame content.
We've seen it happen twice that just inviting people willy nilly leads to some rather nasty occasions where the people are just complete twits and just ruin the entire experience for everyone else. In PvE it means wipes. In PvP it means losing. And in RP it just fails.
We want good members, but that doesn't mean they have to be perfect, have an awesome arena rating, have full epixx or anything like that.
Good people, that's the key.
Hell, remember Kragoth?
(where is he btw?) Alot of people would've dissed him due to his english not being perfect but he got his meaning across and it made for some pretty fun situations.
Alrighty.
I'd like some thoughts on this. Shall we have recruitment drives? Combine it with the Black market? (
Could be very effective).
Me and Paddera start university end of August/beginning September. After that we have less time to devote to the actual game though I think I'll have time to manage things through the site and perhaps occasionally log to do something. But we'll have to see (
Studying law is very much full time
)
Discuss.
